For those with this problem, I hope this helps. Elgato HD60 X External Capture Card - Stream and record in 1080p60 HDR10 or 4K30 HDR10 with ultra-low latency on PS5, PS4/Pro, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One X/S, in OBS and more, works with PC and Mac 179.99 179. However, now that the Elgato 4K60 Pro MK.2 green bar problem has been fixed, it runs extremely well (except for an annoying audio desync issue which is fixed by restarting the 4K Capture Utility program). This problem is further compounded when it’s an internal card requiring the user to physically take apart a PC case and screw things in and out. Troubleshooting a hardware problem is difficult, especially when it comes to capture cards. I just found that turning them on the other way when troubleshooting would cause the 4K Capture Utility to adjust the PS5. Once it’s all sorted, the order doesn’t matter. From there, I could reset the display settings and change them to what I wanted.įrom here, the PlayStation 5 gets turned on and then the 4K Capture Utility. In order to actually update the PlayStation 5 display settings, I had to physically unplug it from the Elgato capture card and plug it directly into the display. Again, until Sony updates the PlayStation 5, this will likely just be upscaled (though it still looks great). When capturing at my desk, I use a 2K monitor hence the 1440p settings. Ive toyed around with some settings without any results and couldnt find any solutions online, so I thought Id ask here. The strange thing is it seems to persist after the capture card is disconnected only re-enabling HDCP in the ps5 menu seems to reset it to what its like normally. Perhaps the one it was installed in was not drawing enough power or is now faulty. The issue is consistent across games and the ps5 menu. While I did try some different start-up and settings, I think the biggest contributor to fixing the problem was switching the slots. Whether you want to build out a professional streaming channel or just want to share your gaming. The PS5 would then have the resolution locked and unable to be changed. The system would also downgrade the resolution to 1080p and adjust my PlayStation 5 settings accordingly. The problem: Elgato 4K60 Pro MK.2 outputs video with fragmented image and green bars. Previously, I was using the HD60, but this only captures at 1080p and does not allow for passthrough video of any resolution greater than this. Recently, I purchased the Elgato 4K60 Pro MK.2 in order to capture Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 footage. Nothing tests your patience quite like setting up a new piece of hardware.
